Imagine that this was June 1944 and D-Day has just begun. I would expect that your model would be asking a lot of questions of you. Until now you are clear, the US and Britain are backing Hitler's Nazis. This Normandy invasion is totally out of the script. How would you have explained it in real time? Are we not once again at such a crossroad?. Just as Kursk showed that Hitler was likely lost, has the time not arrived for the US bosses to give up on Iran? Trump has tried to save Hamas by ordering them to accept a sham peace. They've made it clear that they won't do that. Trump has tried to do the same with Iran, even going as far as to pretend to destroy their nuclear programme. All Iran has to do is say some conciliatory words, allowing for a temporary stop in the fighting so that they can then reset, rearm and try again later. Clearly though, the Ayatollah's are not singing from the same hymn sheet. More than that, they are announcing ballistic missiles that can reach America and cause untold damage there. I would imagine that even the US bosses might be getting nervous about that. When they signed up for this, they had to expect that there was no danger to themselves. Instead, here we have some deranged psychopaths threatening to send missiles in their direction. When all these master plans were first considered, no one anticipated these sophisticated weapons. Reality, though, may be causing some consternation amongst the monied, powerful bosses, and that, in itself, is enough reason to stop and change direction.
On the supposition that the Gaza Peace Force will be in place soon after the immediate Iran war ends, one can expect the Israelis to offer no objection after the end of the Iran threat. With such 'friendly' nations as Egypt and Turkey likely to be thrust upon Israel in 'thanks' to Trump for all his help in destroying the Ayatollah's and all they stand for, it will be a brave Israeli leader who tries to stand up against the idea. Then, as you have already suggested, Turkey has its foot in the door and the noose tightens even further.
Iranians lay quite a bit of blame on Carter, but also on the British government. Their books place more blame on the latter (but it's possible that they do this in order to sell some books in the US). Obviously Britain had more influence on their society, and their media was BBC (British propaganda). BBC media was fawning over Khomeini every step of the way. But Carter played his role for certain.
